Description: 1944 Aerial Military Photo Italy Leaning Tower Of Pisa Air Force 3rd Recon Unit This photograph comes from a collection of an Officer that served in Italy during WW2 in the biggest photographing, processing and printing plant in the world. 5.5" x 5.25" These photos were hand developed by the soldiers in Italy. These are first generation/type 1 you can get! The units largest function is the help the ground forces in their efforts to prepare to attack enemy defenses. Basically the planes would go up take all these aerial photos and then in the lab they would make maps from the photos! I will be listing more and more over the next week or so.
