Undated, these were printed for this "Japanese Puppet Bank". They came out in 1944, the year before the Japanese were defeated. “The Central Reserve Bank of China” was founded March 10, 1938 as a Japanese “Puppet Bank”. During the "Second Sino-Japanese War". As Japan began their occupation of Chinese Provinces, Puppet Banks were established to take control over the economy. The Central Reserve Bank of China was based in Nanking and was dissolved in 1945.
