Description: A peculiar Army Air Force training book given out during World War 2 - a fully colored and animated 96-page cartoon book! I guess there was some frustrations amongst the Army brass on flight safety and rather than hand out the difficult, tiresome and heavily worded "manuals"; they came up with this fun, easy to follow, illustrated book with cute cartoon characters. Also shows the US military actually has (maybe, "had") some humor!? Good condition - the spine is a little rough on the lower left corner and back and front covers shows to be a little dirty. Inside pages are clean and about all the pages are full of bright colorful illustrations. A pleasantly unexpected fun little book from WW2 and the US Army.
