It measures 12¼" x 9¼" and has more than 40 pages of maps and charts, plus an extensive place-name index, keyed to locations. There's a full-page map of Europe and Africa, shaded to identify invaded areas and showing battle lines at various dates in the war. A chart of the Pacific Ocean locates bases and stations and gives flying times between various points. There's a coupon on the first page for ordering a supplement with an update to any boundary changes that may follow the conclusion of the war. This supplement offer "expires six months after peace treaties have been signed." Condition: This atlas is missing pages 29-30 (maps of Italy and northwestern Europe); otherwise in very good, lightly used condition, with minor wear and scuffing on the covers.
