Description: 1948-1962 PAKISTAN Lot of 20 Mixed Used Overprinted & Definitive Issues, UNH, *F* This offer is for a lot of twenty mixed, used, definitive and commemorative, early Pakistan stamps that are a combination of both overprinted, in either black or carmine, and definitive/non-overprinted issued between 1948 - 1962. The stamps are shown in the attached images roughly arranged chronologically although it is not certain when many of the official (service) stamps were overprinted. Most of them were probably overprinted between the 1950's - 1970's. The first row of eight stamps are non-overprinted regular issues. There is one duplicate issue, the 2 Paisa red stamp. There are several types of overprints: 1. The most common overprint is either the black or carmine 'service' overprint which are official stamps. These are the last nine stamps seen in rows two and three. 2. The second group of overprints are the black PASISA denomination type that were surcharged in 1961 with new currency. The first stamp, row two only. 3. The third group is overprinted in black with both 'service' and surcharged with the new currency denominated in Pasisa. The second and third stamp seen in row two only. Condition: The stamps are used and have not been previously hinged. The stamps overall could be graded as at least fine but the buyer should self grade this lot. Two stamps have a diagonal crease: One of the 2 Pasisa red in row one and the last stamp seen in row three best seen on the reverse side image. Light pencil mark on the reverse side of the last two stamps in row one. I try my best to describe the items accurately so you know what you are bidding on or buying.
