Description: A 'Suttlock' Dangerous Drugs Acts Register, presumably belonging to a pharmacist, detailing prescriptions of opium, Coca Leaves, Indian Hemp, etc for 1948-9. Produced by Suttley & Silverlock Ltd of London.Unpaginated, with index-tabs for different substances. Some pages blank. Text-block loose within green cloth boards. Boards lettered to upper board (Presumably once gilt, now faded). Bumping to corners, with a small split starting to the front edge of the spine.Covering a part of North Norfolk local to us (Cromer, Sheringham, etc). I imagine that there are a few interesting stories behind this. In nearly 40 years of book-dealing I've never come across one of these. As you can see, we've been selling on eBay since 1999. However, I've also been a book dealer for the past 25 years. I closed my physical book shop last year but still sell on ABE.
