Description: A b&w original, vintage photo from the late 40's. Looks like an almost new 1948 CHEVROLET with 1948 OHIO license plate, #816-QQ parked in the snow. The car has radio antennae, spotlight, side rear view mirror, one bumper tip, and a bent up grille guard. Appears the CHEVROLET WAS INVOLVED IN A AUTO ACCIDENT, AND SOME FRONT END DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED (one bumper tip missing). In the driver's front window is a sticker from LOWRY FIELD COLORADO. Note: from 1938 to 1948 Lowry was the U.S. Army Air Force training base in Denver/Aurora Colorado. Picture was probably taken at Lowry, as you can see barracks in the background. 4" x 5" glossy photograph. Photo image is crisp and clear. Any glare or distortion is from my digital camera. Bumped corners and edges, small creases, especially on corners. VERY, VERY GOOD sharp image. Bumped corners and edges, miscellaneous creases. Much better than image shows. FREE SHIPPING. I specialize in "Roadside America" and "US States, Cities, & Towns" with identifiable automobiles. If you are looking for postcards or photos with a specific make of automobile let me know, I may be able to help you out, if so I will list them on EBAY. I have been buying and selling on EBAY since 1999, with many satisfied customers, and many are repeat buyers.
