Description: This week I'm offering a number of old baseball cards for sale. In 1948, the popular breakfast cereal Kellogg's Pep issued a set of very small photos as prize inserts in boxes of cereal. The set consisted of 24 different movie stars, and 18 different sports stars, out of which five were baseball players. The cards are printed on glossy photo paper and measure about 1 1/4" x 1 3/4". As a mixture of sports and non-sports themes, the set is very popular with collectors of all types. Here I have a very nice example from the set, featuring Orval Grove of the Chicago White Sox. It shows some very light creases and is a bit off-center (common with this issue), but is otherwise in very collectible condition. See scans for condition. Not bad for a card that's over seventy years old! This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping will be combined for multiple winnings. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
