Description: This 1948 Leaf features Hall of Fame great TED WILLIAMS. Iconic card is obviously miscut, however other than that it looks great. BUY THE CARD NOT THE GRADE!!!!! Card will be shipped in quality double bubble envelopes. No returns on graded cards. This card is the first post-WWII issue to feature Ted Williams and it is one of the keys to a tough set. The 1948 Leaf card shows Williams finishing his magical swing and, if found centered and bright, is one of the more visually appealing cards in the set. In 1948, Williams hit a league-high .369 with 25 home runs and 127 RBI, but he would outdo himself one year later. In 1949, while his average fell slightly to .343, Williams pounded 43 homers and finished with 159 RBI, both AL bests. Williams would earn the 1949 AL MVP for his outstanding performance, the second of his career after winning the first in 1946. This Leaf card is one of Ted's toughest, with print quality and poor centering being the two biggest condition obstacles.
