Description: This is a genuine vintage ticket for the boxing match between Rinty Monaghan & Terry Allen, which took place on Friday, 30th September 1949 at the King's Hall, Balmoral, Belfast. It measures approx 4" x 4 1/8" ( For reference, the match ended with a 15 round draw allowing Rinty to retain his 4 titles; unfortunately this would prove to be Rinty's final fight as he was forced to retire as champion in 1950 due to a long-standing chest complaint ) The ticket is 75 years old and subsequently has some wear/marks/creasing along with fold lines and a few pin holes; there is some faint handwriting at the top edge - please review the scanned images provided to best determine quality/condition of the item prior to purchase.
