Let Carl Aldana, the man behind this commemorative card, tell it in his own words: "In 1950 I was a very disappointed 11 year old. I found out that the PCL sets that had been readily available in abundance in the Bay Area had vanished. All that was left was the 1950 Remar set of [Oakland] Oaks, no Seals, just the Oaks. "Fast forward to [2013]. Large quantities of negatives and photographs of the 1950 SF Seals became available on eBay. I started buying some of them with the idea of creating a set of the missing 1950 Sommer & Kaufman Seals. I was able to acquire enough material, and with help from collectors, cobbled together the 1950s set. "The photos I used were shot by the same photographer that had shot the '49 S&K team. I believe this gives my 1950 set continuity with the previous Seals sets." This offer is for a single card, as listed in the title. Card size is 2" by 3" - same as the old 1948 and '49 S&K's.
