Description: We think these five Carl Aubock pieces are drink coasters, but we aren't sure because we can not locate another set. They are unusually heavy for their size. They appear to be brass, but they seem heavier than they should be. They are extremely scarce and rare, and Carl Aubock's original artwork has been in very high demand since the 1950s. Carl Aubock designed a coin dish, a bottle opener, and a small lidded canister with "Carolus VI DG Rom Imp Semp Aug", but this is the only set of this style with that design that we have found. These five used Carl Aubock pieces are 3 1/8" across and 7/16" high. They really are incredible pieces of artwork. We cleaned them, but the bottom on some could use a second cleaning. If you collect Carl Aubock's original pieces, you should consider this artwork with Carolus VI DG Rom Imp Semp.
