BRITISH OVERSEAS AIRWAYS CORPORATION (BOAC) was the British state-owned airlines created in 1939 by the merger of Imperial Airways and British Airways Ltd. It continued operating overseas services throughout WWII. The Civil Aviation Act of 1971 merged BOAC and BEA (British European Airways) forming today's British Airways. 8 x 10 glossy black & white - has some curling, cracks in the finish on the corners, and one small spot where finish is gone.
