The story behind this particular quilt was that the grandmother found out her soon to be born grandchildren were going to be twins. A boy and a girl so that's why you not only see pinks, but blues. And kittens, skiers, football players and flowers. This lovely quilt was made in the 50s so you'll notice a small seam separation and a couple of small stains. We didn't want to wash it in case there was a special process for that. It measures 38"L x 40"W. It's been stored in a heated storage for decades. So you don't have any musty smells to worry about.
