Description: One of the great boxers of all time, Jack Dempsey retired and opened a restaurant in NYC-right on Broadway, no less-that was a hit from the get-go. Absolutely patrons wanted to show that they had wined and dined there and this type of photo folder was one way to prove it to family and friends, and not least to have a momento for their own collection. In this case we see a party of 7 living it up at "The Meeting Place of the World". Anybody know these people?.... It's in decent condition, nice n clean but toned with the decades of shelf life-but this one did spend some time behind china cabinet glass to mitigate that a bit.
