Description: I really like this advertisement. I did not realize that the importance of biopharmaceutics was recognized so long ago. I thought it was not generally appreciated until the late 1960's. My favorite part of the ad is the detailed drawing and description of the importance of drug dissolution, gastric emptying, and intestinal absorption for the onset of drug action (pic 3). This ad is approximately 10.5 by 13.5 inches and fits well in an 11 by 14 inch frame (not included) with a simple cardboard backing in the frame. It is in very good condition considering it is 72 years old (see pics). It does have several minor creases, especially at the corners, and a couple of stains on the lower right hand corner.
