He had an incredible wall of shelves of the most important and famous books, and many were first editions, signed by the author or inscribed to him and his wife by industry personalities. They were definitely people who gifted books and received books and they and their friends like to write notes and sign those books! The condition of the books ranges from well-worn to seemingly unread. Finally, I will be listing a LOT of books so look at them all and buy more than one to save on shipping. This 1951 first? edition is hardbound. The cover of the book shows quite a bit of wear and tear and a small piece is broken off the binding (see last pic) There are a lot of inscriptions in the opening, otherwise blank pages but the pages themselves have no marks or writing. overall Good or better condition.
