Picture captured by Acme Photographer Eddie Jerry on October 6th, 1951. Acme News would be bought out in December 1951. Taken during the 1951 World Series between the Giants and Yankees. During the 3rd game, Eddie Stanky slid into 2nd base on a steal and kicked the ball from Phil Rizutto's glove, thus securing the steal. He would score first that game for the Giants. You can see the ball flying away from Phil's glove at the top of the picture. The Yankees would go on win the whole series 4-2. The acme press stamp on the back is faded, but it is still legible.
