These discussions were recorded between 1941 and 1944 by various aides and secretaries, most notably Martin Bormann. The work provides insight into Hitler's thoughts on a wide range of topics, including his views on religion, culture, politics, and military strategy.With the bookplate of English journalist, writer and politician Randolph S. Churchill to both the front and rear pastedown. Son of Winston Churchill, who served as British Prime Minister during the period covered in this work, Randolph has been termed as among the first British journalists to warn about Hitler. In 1937 he tried in vain to get an invitation from Unity Mitford to meet Hitler.A scarce insight into the inner workings of Hitler's mind, with an introductory essay from H.R. Trevor-Roper.
