Description: This original Official Wrestling Calendar from 1955. This calendar is missing it's cover but is otherwise complete. Originally available for $1.00 from Al Haft Sports in Columbus, Ohio, these calendars are considerably rarer than the more common Holiday calendars. Measuring 24 inches tall by 9 inches wide when opened, each top page features full-color pictures of renowned wrestling greats, including Buddy Rogers, Ruffy Silverstein, Don Eagle, and Dick Hutton. The bottom of each page displays three black and white photos of wrestlers alongside a two-month calendar. Wrestlers such as Eddie Gossett, Leo Jonathan, Oyama Kato, Ray Stevens, and Johnny Valentine are depicted in these smaller photos, each accompanied by a brief bio. The last page of the calendar illustrates various wrestling holds and provides guidance on identifying them during matches. This calendar is in excellent condition as it was stored in an envelope for all these years. The only damage is a fold on the last page.
