And New Orleanians can visit the cruiser. HMCS Quebec, a light cruiser in the Canadian Navy, is docking in New Orleans today for a week-long Thanksgiving visit. The ship, now a training cruiser, took part in the Sicilian and Salerno actions in World War II and was badly damaged at Salerno. Later the cruiser was moved to the Pacific Fleet and saw action there. The ship will be opened for public inspection Thursday and Sunday. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 11-22-1955.
