Description: As you can see by my photos, this is a Factory GM Accessory Locking Gas Cap for all 1956 Chevrolets. It was purchased more than 50 years ago by a local gentleman who was then restoring his Nomad but for some unknown reason decided not to use it. This Factory Optional Locking Gas Cap is New Old Stock and is still in its original GM shipping box having part number #987347. This Gas Cap has no dings, dents, damage, rust or pitting and the finish is still very bright & shiny with only several tiny scratches near the swivel cover. It comes complete with a pair of original keys that correctly unlock the fuel cap.
