Description: The program is in excellent condition with no significant flaws beyond light wear. It is eight pages to include the front and back cover and is from the mid to late September timeframe in 1956. The program is for the Sportmen's & Amateur Stock Car races that were held at the Greensboro Fairgrounds. The races were NASCAR sanctioned, with Bill France being one of the Race Directors along with Alvin Hawkins. Having a chance to read the program is like going back in time. The ads are great, but the entry lists are legendary. There are numerous articles of local and national racing to include Greensboro and the Grand National and Convertible divisions. The final results for the 1956 Darlington race are included. There is an article on Ralph Earnhardt winning at Myrtle Beach. Please review the other racing items I have listed. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
