Description: This is for an original racing program for the August 11 1956 race which was held at Wall Stadium in Belmar New Jersey. This 32 page program was scored meticulously by its original owner in pencil and even taped his own line-up of extra cars at the race. The cover also has written on it lightly in pencil NASCAR Stocks Modified and Sportsman Division. This type of NASCAR Modified race became the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour in 1985 and still races today. The program even comes with its insert for August 11 1956 Wall Stadium Weekly News Notes which when folded in half is still a bit larger than the program. This is a must have for any racing fan and those that remember all of the defunct tracks which were once the pride of NJ. As a side note, the race was won by Len Brown who would split his 1956 season racing at Wall and Old Bridge, finishing no farther back than fourth the entire year.
