Description: This sale is for: Barbie's Gold Dimpled BeltThis beautiful belt was made for Barbie in 1960 by Mattel for her "Silken Flame" ensemble #977. The wide belt has a metal buckle and metallic gold dimpled surface. Excellent condition! No extra belt holes, no stains or bad odors. What a wonderful piece to add to your collection! Helpful Tip: If you buy a vinyl belt that is crumpled from storage, it is easy to re-form this type of belt so that it will fit perfectly around your doll's waist. You will need: an iron and ironing board, a smooth white linen towel or a pillowcase, spray bottle filled with water and your doll waiting nearby. Set the iron to a low (polyester) setting. Mist the white towel with water and place it over the reverse side of the belt. Using care, iron the towel and belt. You will feel the belt soften and relax. Before it cools, slip it around your doll's waist and re-buckle it taking care if the buckle is still hot. When the belt cools completely it will fit your doll perfectly!
