It all started a little more and two years ago at the Cannes Film Festival, to which I had been invited in connection with my having appeared in the Italian film "La Donna del Giorno." At the time my career was going badly. I was depressed at the lack of film opportunity in my own country, where I had faced the cameras for the first (and last) time in "Hill 24 Does Not Answer."
