Description: 1960s BIKE FRONT CARRIER RACK SCHWINN PANTHER JAGUAR CORVETTE TYPHOON VINTAGE! Click Photos to Enlarge Description Here is an original FRONT carrier rack which was removed from an early 1960s Schwinn middleweight bicycle. This fits most any vintage bike with 26" wheels but is correct for your early 1960s Schwinn middleweight bike such as your Schwinn Jaguar, (Mark II, IV, V etc) Panther, Typhoon, Fair Lady, Starlet, Hollywood etc. This is a great idea to have on your bike to carry things while your hands are safely on the handlebars where they belong. This top of rack itself is approx 9 3/4" long by 5 3/4" wide. The legs are approx 16" long. (there is lots of curves so its a little tricky to measure but this is off a 26" bike) BE SURE to compare to be sure this will work for you before you bid. This is cool as it has WALD stamped on the top mount! (see pic) A nice detail to make your bike stand out from the crowd! Will look even nicer with a basic polishing/detailing! These clean up nicely with 0000 steel wool or enjoy it in its current patina. This can make a good bike look GREAT! This stuff is what sets your bike apart from the rest. Keep your hands safely on the handlebars where they belong and still be able to carry items! Will look even better with the chrome polished!
