1960’s Blonde Midge Doll in 1965’s LEARNS TO COOK #1635 Dress*Belt*Shoes*Pots

Description: I love this Barbie Learns to Cook dress with the floral print and the Barbie logo on it. Hot pink belt really makes the dress pop. The dress is in fabulous condition with no tears, rips, stains or damage.Buttons and belt loop are still in tact. Snaps are tight.Colors bright.Black & white tag looks practically new. I'm pairing the dress with hot pink plastic vintage clone pumps.This is the original dress with pots and pans from 1965 and not a reproduction. Set is nearly complete with large and medium pots with matching lids, tea kettle and double broiler. The small pot does have a black mark on it (see photo) and a white mark on the handle, but everything else is in very good condition. ***missing from original packaging;Cookbook, potholder, small cooking pot, toaster with toast. (If you have these aren't you lucky!) Midge doll, so cute. I wish I had a before picture to show you. Good grief, she was filthy. Looked like she had been living in a cave. I got her cleaned up as best as I could. Washed her hair and body a couple of times. I think she looks adorable now, especially in this ensemble. Midge top to bottom*Hair is soft, I conditioned it 3 times! Hair color looks great, she does have a little frizziness, a boil rinse might help with that. *Face: Right eyebrow could use some color. It has faded. Eyes, nose & freckles look good. Lips are needing touchup, lipstick mostly in the center of the lips. No green ears, but ears are pierced. No neck splits or damage.*Body: Chest has some pins pricks 3 on her right and maybe some plastic surgery gone wrong on her left boob. It's like the plastic melted and she now has a crease. I noticed she has a bellybutton...arms aren't as tight as when they were new, a little bit loose, but no problem holding a pose at any position. Has all fingers with some remaining nail polish. some scuffs on the back, but not bad. Legs look good and are pretty tight. I'm still seeing a little dirt discoloration on them, by the feet mostly. Be sure and look at pictures closely. Could be my imagination. Toes have some polish on them, some definitely more than others. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
