Description: This is a Vintage circa 1961 Universal Transistor SIX Pocket AM Transistor Radio model PTR-62B Made in Japan it has a brushed aluminum front trim with lower speaker grille area and tuning / volume knobs near the top. Very cool styling!It has some wear and a large chip in one cornerso I am offering it as a parts set or needing repairs. Otherwise it looks ok.I tried it with a 9v battery and it did play, got a few stations with decent sound but it shuts off intermittantly and is hard to tune in and doesn't play reliably and chassis seems a little loose. I'm sure it hasn't been serviced in 50+ years so it is offered asis, possibly needing repairs or alignment, and not guaranteed to work.
