Description: This is a 1962 Fort Jackson Civil War Centennial Brass Coin / Medal From New Orleans, Louisiana ( Hurricane Katrina Survivor ) in Original Condition including the current Patina after being salvaged from my Mother's home ( she owned it since 1962 ) that was underwater for 2 months after Hurricane Katrina. I have personally owned this coin since 2005 and it has been stored in a locked cabinet for the last 16 years. The coin has not been cleaned or polished in all these years. as I have left them in the condition found in after they were salvaged! Please check the photos and contact me with any questions.
