Blas Fernando Bello, nicknamed “Tarzan” was an Argentine footballer-goalkeeper for Club Atlético Independiente and Argentina National Football Team. He is regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of his time. With Independiente he won the 1938 and 1939 championships playing alongside with such figures as Arsenio Erico, Vicente de la Mata and Antonio Sastre.
