1962 Topps Venezuelan Lot 200 Luis Aparicio, 199 Chacon, Venezuela SPANISH BACKS

Description: A very rare Topps Venezuelan baseball card lot. The cards have Spanish backs. The 1962 Topps Venezuela set has 198 cards. The sets first 196 cards are the same cards as in the Topps set. There is no #197 and 198 in the 1962 Topps Venezuela set. Card #199 Chacon and #200 Aparicio replaced the cards in the set because they are local heroes. The Topps Venezuela cards on the PSA and SGC population report are graded at only a fraction of what the common United States Topps cards are. The cards have a different color back. The Venezuela cards were issued on a cruder cardboard and have virtually no gloss. The lot has some toning or browning and some spots and stains and wear. The cards have some bends, the lot has some creasing and scratches. The lot has some chipping and writing and Chacon looks like it could be trimmed. The Aparicio has some glue on the back and the Chacon has heavy creasing. The cards are in poor shape. They display very well. Please see clear and large photos of the cards. Topps issued cards in Venezuela because it was a hot bed for baseball talent and they only issued the cards in 1959,60,62,64,66,67 and 68 and most collectors did not know they were ever issued, they are very RARE.
