Description: Ultra rare, super tuff, and captivating! Both sides of this fine single rock, and with fiery reverbed double picked lap steel leads played by 15 year olds, it's a must have! Simply essential. The Goldtones were 15 years old. They cut "Strike" for a local TV bowling show called Bowling For Dollars. Lap steel genius Glenn Ross Campbell went on to become one of the psychedelic legends and played for The Misunderstood, Juicy Lucy, and Rod Piazza's Dirty Blues Band. Drummer Randy Seol was a founder of Strawberry Alarm Clock (incense peppermints). The bassist was Bill Ewing. This 1963 single is simply one of the finest ultra intense surf singles ever! I would grade the vinyl a strong VG+! No scratches or other marks. Plays well. No marks on the label. It’s perfect! Probably the finest example of this 45 on Earth! Sleeve is excellent. Dual sided. Very rare. See pics! Does have slight “ring” wear on one side. No rips or tears. Will ship insured. Priority mail. Free shipping No returns! Absolutely none.
