Description: This week I'm offering a number of old baseball cards for sale. During the Sixties, a number of companies issued a wide variety of baseball related collectibles. Salada Tea issued a massive set of over 200 different baseball coins in 1962, and followed this up with a smaller 63-coin set in 1963. The 1963 coins are photographs printed on metai, about the size of a half-dollar coin. Statistics are printed on the back; American League players feature a blue rim, and National League players have a red rim. The set remains very popular with collectors today and is highly collectible. Here I have a very nice example of the 1963 Salada coin set, #52 Bobby Richardson of the New York Yankees.
