Introduced in 1960, this early and stunningly-clean example of the ES-125TDC (Thinline Double Cutaway) model is 100% original save for a bone nut and pair of vintage strap buttons. The fully hollow maple body is paired with a one-piece Honduran mahogany neck capped with a Brazilian rosewood fretboard. The natural acoustic qualities of the guitar are ample, with a clear, articulate sound that benefits from the warmth of the fully hollow body paired with the dynamic snap of maple. The original P-90s are rich and powerful-sounding with midrange growl, glassy treble detail, and low end bark. The guitar is featherweight at 5lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings (wound G), low action, and accurate intonation.
