La Coruna, Spain, September 11 - The above Spanish refinery, in which Marathon Oil Company holds one-fourth interest, was dedicated today. The 40,000-barrel-per-day refinery was built at a cost of about $30 million and processes crude oil from Marathon's production in Libya, North Africa. Marathon also recently participated in the dedication of a 50,000-barrel-per-day refinery in which is holds 40 percent interest, at Mannheim, West Germany, and which also processes Marathon Libyan crude oil. La Coruna is a historic seaport located on the northwest coast of Spain.
