NOTE : the 1965 version Skipper were manufactured with a heavy " chrome-like" gold metallic ink paint applied to the hard plastic base material. Over the years, ALL 1965 Skipper pins have "toned", or darkened, or corroded to various ( and different ) degrees due to this Metallic ink/painted surface. THIS EXAMPLE has age darkened quite a bit, but has Not Corroded. Quite Displayable.
