Description: 1966 MARVEL SUPER-HEROES Trading Card #58 THOR Donruss JACK KIRBY Marvelmania The Marvel Super Heroes bubble gum trading cards series was issued by Donruss in 1966. Each card measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" and features a white border around a comic panel illustration with humorous dialogue, except for 14 cards which have no caption other than encouraging collectors to "Write Your Own". A rectangular box along one of the borders includes the card number, the Super Hero’s name, a copyright date and a reminder to "Collect All 66 Cards". This series includes eleven cards each of the following superheroes: Captain America (#1-11), Iron Man (#12-22), Daredevil (#23-33), Spider-Man (#34-44), the Hulk (#45-55) and Thor (#56-66). A complete set contains 66 cards and the 66 puzzle backs fit together to form a large puzzle with Thor, Daredevil, Spiderman, Iron Man, Captain America and the Hulk. After my scans of this card I have included a picture I found online of the entire set formed into the above mentioned puzzle so you can see how sharp it looks when assembled. This card is in excellent condition with gum stains on the front.
