Description: Beautiful 1968 Lincoln Continental with suicide doors, black interior, power windows, power bench seat, upgraded stereo system with 2 12” subs and an amp powered by and aftermarket head unit. Engine starts up and runs beautifully, idles smooth, but is missing air cleaner lid. Panels are straight as an arrow, and paint is in glossy condition. Nearly completely original minus roof being repainted and hood being repainted at some point. Has some paint bubble on rear lower quarter panels near the bumper and rear trunk lid had paint bubbling around lock assembly and emblem. Other than that this car is in super straight original condition, has the desired big block 460 V8 with minimal oil seepage, only oil dripping that I can see is small amount from power steering pump and some dripping from somewhere on the transmission. Car runs and drives, starts beautifully but does need some brake attention, sometimes the brake peddle works properly other times it sinks to the floor, my guess is it needs a master cylinder as there are no leaks in the brake system anywhere. There are no rust holes in the undercarriage, it is very very clean for the age. This car has been stored in a climate controlled environment since 2011 and has not been driven since then other than to be washed and to start it now and again. This is a true barn find!!!! I regret having to part with this car as I had big plans for it but life has a way of changing one’s priorities so hopefully it goes to someone who will make it into the dream car I have always intended it to be!
