Rivergate Catering Contract awarded to American News Company. The Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans have executed a lease contract with the American News Company for food, beverage and catering services, and for operating other concessions in the Rivergate. The contract provides for $2,100,000 minimum guaranteed rental covering a fifteen year period, plus installation of improvements valued at $700,000 for equipping the kitchen, cafeteria, cocktail lounge and concession stands.
