Description: NATIONAL LEAGUE . AMERICAN LEAGUE 1968 WORLD SERIES BUSCH MEMORIAL STADIUMGAME 2 St.Louis National Baseball Club, Inc.ENTER GATE 6, SEC. 174, ROW 11, SEAT 7 I have been a St. Louis Cardinal fan since the early age of 7. My favorite sports memory is when my Dad surprised us with tickets to game 2 of the 1968 World Series. We sat in Section 174, Row 10 & 11 past third base in a field box seat. I used my souvenir megaphone (see listing) to cheer on the Cardinals. My Dad rooted for Mickey Lolich; why I don't know. Unfortunately we lost the game to the Tigers by a score of 8-1. However my favorite player, Lou Brock scored our only run in that game. During warm-up, my younger brother got Willie Horton's autograph on a baseball Willie used during warm-up. After the game my younger brother was interviewed outside the stadium by Chris Condon of Channel 5 News and it aired that same night. This ticket stub is from my personal St. Louis Cardinals Collection and is original. Please see my other St. Louis Cardinal Listings and grab a piece of baseball history! It will be shipped in the two plastic sleeves that are put together shown in my photos inside of a sturdy plastic document folder in a 9x12 Brown Self Seal Document Mailer. Thank you for viewing!
