This coin is a great example of a Machine Doubled Error Coin which is commonly referred to as a "Poor Man's Doubled Die". The "MACHINE DOUBLING" occurs on the Date, Mint Mark and Lincoln's Profile as indicated with red arrows as you can see in several of the photos. Note the Die Polishing lines that help to give this coin it's Superior Luster. This is NOT the Doubled Die Obverse DDO FS-101. This coin has what is called "Mechanical Doubling" or Machine Doubling". This coin is commonly referred to as the "Poor Man's Doubled Die" as it resembles a DDO, but does not cost anywhere near as much as an authentic FS-101 Variety. *Please Note: This coin is NOT a DDO or Doubled Die Obverse.
