1970 Chevrolet Chevelle

Description: 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. 454, glide, 10 bolt. headers, mufflers, fuel cell in trunk as well as battery and shut off switch. Former 80's drag car, no seats, carpet, dash or headliner. Windows have regulators and go up and down, door panels still there. Dash structure is still under the aluminum cover so a dash would not be hard to install. 6 point cage welded to frame, professionally done and holes through floor patched after cage installed. 10 bolt rear has longer studs and what I believe are aftermarket axles, but I have not pulled the cover to see gear ratio or posi/locker. Almost no rust, took pictures off all of the usual places. Center Line convo pro wheels, slicks in back and narrow in front, all hold air. Purchased car as you see it, drove it on trailer. Was told various stories about engine so we pulled it, took off pan and inspected and measured what we could. Put on run stand, fired, tuned with regular carb. 4.00" stroke Eagle Crank and 6.135 " Eagle rods, Speed Pro H693CP pistons, small dome on them to make it 9.5:1 compression. 289 casting block, 781 casting heads with extensive port work. Solid roller cam (no specs but will try to get lift at valve), titanium retainers, roller rockers, Crane stud girdle. Dominator carb. Large tube headers. Power glide, deep pan, small converter, cable shifter. Has line lock. MSD box and distributor worked when I fired it up, but put a new HEI in it when on my run stand. Still has it at this time. Both are included. Engine is currently not in the car. If you buy it and come pick it up, I can leave it that way. If you are having it shipped, I will put back in car but likely won't hook it all back up because it should be winched onto a transport. Very touchy loading with that engine. Car has clean and clear Oklahoma title in my dealership name. As a NE licensed and bonded dealer, you will receive all paperwork upon purchase and copy can be provided to transport company. Located just outside of Lincoln NE. Can load and meet a transport at a local truck stop to help them. Will not answer questions in photos or in the description.
