The pockets are deep, square and close with the same rolled leather buttons. Fabric is leather with a nylon acetate lining. ConditionThis has been previously owned and worn. It shows gentle signs of wear that give it a vintage character. The lining is clean as see in photos. I show a photo of the front that has a small spot of discoloration and a scrape in the leather. Visible upon close inspection. I also show that the original lining hangs down just a bit below the leather hem. What Diane Likes About This CoatI really like the handmade vibe of this coat. Ms. Pioneer went out of their way to make this coat feel like something that was made by hand, by original pioneers. From the woven straps, to the hand leather tied buttons, and hanging fringe pieces, they really captured the feeling. You can easily imagine a woman sewing by the fire in the candlelight and adding all the extra little embellishments. This coat was made late 70s/early 80s, and they had plenty of sewing technology, but Ms. Pioneer wanted that authentic feeling.
