Description: Here is a very nice and rare Hohner Les Paul Custom built by Morris Moridaira in Japan. It’s early to mid 1970’s. It has a pre Lawsuit open book headstock and Les Paul Custom diamond inlay on the headstock. The frets are nice, tall and round. It has seen very little wear. The body is pancake style made out of solid mahogany, no chambers in the body like most LP’s of the era. It is a true carved top with maple cap. It has a new set of Guitar Madness ‘84 humbuckers installed, but the rest of the electronics are original. It has a pair of mini toggle switches, but they aren’t connected. The pickups are 4 wire and can be split, if you so chose, via the mini toggles. The guitar has a new set of D’Addario XL .09-.42 installed. The black and gold tuners are original to the guitar. This is a very well built, high quality guitar. The guitar will be professionally packaged and shipped with insurance. It will need to be tuned and possibly set up to your personal playing preferences upon receiving. No partial refunds are given for this, as it is normal after shipping a guitar.
