1970s Knoll Mies van der Rohe MR Chaise Lounge Chair Black Upholstered Leather

Description: This is an MR Chaise Lounge, originally designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1927. This particular example was produced by Knoll International in the USA in the 1970s. The chaise features a channeled cushion in black leather that rests atop a tubular steel frame. The cushion is attached to the frame with leather strips that are secured with snap buttons. The piece retains its original Knoll paper label, and also has a tag sewn onto the upholstery. The chaise measures 47.25 inches long, 23.5 inches wide, and 37.5 inches high. The seamless stainless steel tubular frame is bright and has no damage. The black leather has some creasing and texture, and there are small cracks on the corners. Overall, this chaise is in very good vintage condition with light wear. Please see photos.
