This is a fine example of artisan hand-crafted miniature dollhouse micro petit point wall art. Martha was an avid needle-worker who coined the term of "Petite Petit-Point". Her work is represented in several museums, both public and private. She worked on silk gauze with approximately 40 stitches per horizontal inch. Signed with initials M. F. on bottom corner.
