Description: This listing is for one (1) New Old Stock, never used Schecter bass neck. I purchased this as well as several other Schecter made necks from the estate of a former employee that had passed away. The necks I bought all were very early, but had little things that made them 2nd's. This one has a little heavy sanding in that transistion from the scoop behind the nut to the flat surface of the headstock. Otherwise, it is perfect. Sights straight, truss rod appears to function. Frets have oxidation from sitting all these years. Appears to be sealed in a clear finish. Cant tell if its sprayed or oil, but it as gloss. It is only sealed, grain is still open. A Schceter fan tells me the side dot material and walnut on mahogany stripe is indicative of early manufacture. ANother bass neck from this estate had 1978 written on it.
