1970s Timex Snoopy Tennis Denim MYSTERY BALL Watch

Description: 1970s Timex Snoopy Tennis MYSTERY BALL wristwatch - vintage, running very well. All original with original denim strap in fully functional condition. Few marks to strap as pictured. A lovely example, in good cosmetic condition with an amazing colour to the face and original acrylic glass. NOTE: The acrylic crystal has a crack all along the right hand side of the face, but only at the base of the crystal so isn’t immediately noticeable when wearing or viewing from the top. It isn’t structural at this stage, mostly cosmetic but buyer must be aware of this. I guess you could get it replaced and save a few quid vs a pristine version which tends to go on eBay for around 130, or just wear it as is and not worry. Hence reduced price. Other than that the crystal is very pristine in appearance, particularly on the main face. The stainless steel back is in very nice condition. Overall good condition for a watch of this age. Will be very carefully wrapped for shipping and sent promptly. Case size without crown is 32mm. Note: listings like these on my account are vintage mechanical watches and I do not know their full service history. I obviously cannot give any guarantees for future or long term time keeping accuracy; they are not modern watches. If you are looking for perfect timekeeping I do suggest looking for a modern watch. They need be looked after and handled relatively carefully, and not overwound. They are not waterproof. Indeed I have not taken the back off at all. Vintage mechanical watches have intrinsic value due to their history and limited availability, and tend to go up in value if nicely looked after.
