Description: Here we have an interesting bit of 1970s music history: a three part, six cassette collection from the legends of collection,. Time-Life. This is three packs of two cassettes each, featuring some of the great instrumentals up to that point. Each two cassette pack is color coded and fits into its own color coded box as a piece of the three part series. Also comes with a booklet of notes about the music for the red cassettes (number 2 in the series). All three cardboard series containers are intact, with no tearing, creasing or splitting seams. All six plastic cassette boxes are in perfect condition, with no cracks or broken lid hinge pins. Tape on all six cassettes look great, with no puckering or wrinkling. Cassette labels are as new, and I suspect some of these were never played. There is light sun fading on the spine of the red cassettes and some wear markings on the back of the green cassette box, but overall they are in remarkable condition for 51 year old tapes. I did not play each tape all the way through, but I did play each one to assure that they functioned. A cool and fairly rare piece of classic American history.
